MEN Quán
MEN QUÁN · KHOÁI MỒI & MÊ BIA · HOÀNG SA
A nhậu joint at 691 Hoàng Sa: a traditional shophouse dressed for evening — terracotta tile roof, a tall wooden slat screen glowing with warm LED strips, white plaster columns and a blue “691” plate — with seating entirely open-air on the street-facing terrace. Young groups of friends, busy and loud at night, and the plant-lined terrace at dusk as its calmest corner.

Finding it
The glowing slat screen and the blue 691 plate
A terracotta tile roof overhang, a tall wooden slat screen glowing with warm LED strips behind it, white plaster columns, and a blue “691” address plate beside open wooden slatted folding doors — that is how to spot the house from the street.

The signature
Beer at dusk on the open terrace
At night the bar glows: beer tap towers and glowing fridges, wood panels backlit orange-red with dish photos, a terracotta tile canopy edged with an LED strip, ribbed lantern pendants and big wall fans. The plant-lined terrace at dusk is the house's prettiest, calmest corner — come then, before the night crowd fills in.
The room
Open air only — no indoor room
There is no enclosed indoor dining room — seating is entirely open-air on the street-facing terrace: dark wooden tables, galvanized Tolix-style metal chairs mixed with wooden chairs, blue-and-white hand-painted ceramic bowls and cups with glass beer mugs, and tall banana palms in planters along the railing. By day it is bright, airy and green; at night it is busy, loud and social.
