Story
Turkish Cuisine · Halal · District 1 · 65 Pasteur
Anatolia is a halal Turkish restaurant at 65 Pasteur, Bến Nghé ward: a black fascia with amber-gold script and a glowing HALAL seal, and inside a warm room of arch niches, burnt-orange velvet and tables laden with grills, flatbreads and tea.
Find it by the black night fascia: a large backlit cursive “Anatolia” in warm amber-gold, “Turkish Cuisine” in small caps beneath, a circular scalloped-edge seal reading “HALAL” to the right, and a “65” plaque on the pillar. Entry is at 63/13 and 65 Pasteur; above the glass double doors sits a smaller illuminated “Anatolia”, with arched transom windows glowing warm yellow.
Inside is warm contemporary Turkish-modern: caramel and dark-chocolate walls with curved arch niches, grey marble-look floors and tabletops, dark teal armchairs, long burnt-orange velvet banquettes, bright orange folded napkins on every table, black track spotlights and recessed ceiling spots. Tall arched windows at the rear look out on greenery; the walls carry vintage-map-style art with red Turkish flags, a small globe table lamp, plants and vases on a ledge, and a “STAFF ONLY” door with an oval “Anatolia” logo.
On the table: the mixed grill on a round wooden board, boat-shaped cheese flatbread, herbed yogurt dip drizzled with olive oil, spiced minced-meat flatbread, a bread basket and tea in a tulip glass. Still photos show the room empty between services; videos show laden tables — tea, dips, grills.
