Branch number nine — nearly a decade on the street
GoGi House is Golden Gate's Korean BBQ chain — a round charcoal grill mid-table, chrome smoke hood, US/Australian beef marinated 48 hours in proprietary Galbi and Obathan sauces, unlimited panchan. The chain calls it "grilling over GoGi charcoal".
The Le Van Sy branch is the chain's 9th, nearly ten years at 254–256 on Le Van Sy street — District 3's main artery, across from Nguyen Van Troi Market, next to the University of Education. Smaller than the branches that opened later, but always full: long rows of rustic square wooden tables running from the door deep inside, smoke hoods humming, plus partitioned booths for private groups.
At noon, daylight floods through the glass front — the office workers' shift; at night, the black sign glows and the hall turns amber — the hour of friend groups, families, and students out of class. This is GoGi's only street-front branch on vinaspot: the others sit in shopping malls or on grand boulevards (Vincom Dong Khoi, Saigon Centre, Saigon Garden, Dinh Tien Hoang, Tran Hung Dao).
