Story
Egg coffee · District 3 · From 258/1 Điện Biên Phủ
Little HaNoi Egg Coffee on Điện Biên Phủ does not try to be a modern cafe. It makes a Hanoi room: brick walls, black-and-white photos, an arched bookshelf, and egg coffee kept warm the traditional way.
The main room is long, with square tables and one large round table, ladder-back wooden chairs with pink and red cushions, a few tables in red patterned cloths. Daylight from the windows mixes with warm pendants, track spots and wall sconces — bright, yet warm throughout.
The centrepiece is the photo wall: dozens of framed black-and-white Hanoi street photos packed dense, beside a large Ho Chi Minh portrait on brick and a wooden sign reading “KHÔNG CÓ GÌ QUÝ HƠN ĐỘC LẬP - TỰ DO”. The ceiling carries bare branches and small lights; on one side an arched bookshelf, on the other a terracotta breeze-block screen.
Guests here take their time: one reading, two working on laptops in the back room. This is a breakfast and brunch cafe — mango toast, avocado toast, and many tourists' first-ever egg coffee.

The backlit lettering on the ochre wall is the first landmark on entering — below it the arched bookshelf and the terracotta screen.
Framed black-and-white Hanoi street photos packed dense, a large Ho Chi Minh portrait, a wooden sign about independence and freedom — a small gallery inside a cafe.
A white cup printed “LITTLE HANOI / EGG COFFEE” nested in a bowl of hot water, thick egg foam lifted on a spoon — the traditional Hanoi egg-coffee presentation.
