Story
Indian restaurant · District 1 · 9 Công trường Lam Sơn
Curry-licious is a long, bright, casual dining hall where the ceiling tells the story before the menu does: corrugated metal painted in the colours of the Indian flag, a black Ashoka Chakra at its centre, and a neon steaming handi-pot on the wall.
The restaurant sits at 9 Công trường Lam Sơn, District 1, in a narrow 4–5 storey building: mint-green framed windows, a teal CURRY script, a red –licious script, yellow INDIAN RESTAURANT capitals, a round red curry-pot logo sign, a dark awning and glass doors at ground floor.
Inside is a long casual-modern dining hall: dark wood tables, black chairs and stools, dark-green banquettes with patterned and yellow cushions, yellow LED strips under the wall-side tables, tall street-facing windows, track lighting, an Indian-themed mural and arched wooden doorway frames on the back wall. The bar carries cinema marquee boards and vertical SHRABI THAN EVER neon.
On the tables are the dishes the photos show: tandoori-style grilled chicken with green chutney, two curries in pastel bowls with naan baskets, samosa chaat with yogurt and chutneys, crisp hollow puris with spiced water, cumin rice, and mango lassi served in a clay pot with dry-ice smoke. The room is usually quiet, bright from tall windows by day, warmly lit in the evening, with Indian music playing softly.
