OKKIO · LÊ LỢI · EST. 2018 SAIGON
Hidden behind a narrow arched doorway on Lê Lợi is a long, light coffee room: a window wall over trees and old rooftops, chevron breeze-block panels, brick arches set with round mirrors, a long communal table on terracotta pedestals under copper cone pendants, dark bentwood chairs and sage square tile. Bright and airy by day, warm amber by evening — a quiet room for laptop work and slow coffee.

Finding it
The backlit sign and the narrow arch
From the street, look for the tall backlit vertical sign reading OKKIO SPECIALTY COFFEE, SMALL BATCH CRAFT ROASTING, OPEN DAILY, EST. 2018 Saigon, above the orange COFFEE TO CONNECT sign. The entrance is a single narrow arched doorway — step through it to reach the main coffee room upstairs.

The signature
The long communal table under copper cones
At the centre of the room stands the long communal wooden table on terracotta pedestal bases, ringed with dark Thonet-style bentwood chairs, under a linear pendant with three copper cone shades. By day, daylight floods through the window wall; in the evening, the copper pendants and round brass sconces turn the room warm amber.
The room
Windows, brick arches and sage tile
The window wall runs the length of the room, topped with chevron-pattern breeze-block panels; above the windows, exposed-brick arches each set with a round mirror reflecting the room. White walls above a sage square ceramic tile wainscot, a round patterned tile floor in cream, terracotta-pink and charcoal. Through a wide arch lies a plant-filled back seating zone, then a brown leather banquette against exposed brick.
