Mẹ đỡ đầu
“Godmother” is mẹ đỡ đầu — the shop wants to be a warm, comforting sanctuary amidst the hustle and bustle.
Story
All Day Dining · 70B Lê Lợi
In Vietnamese, godmother is “mẹ đỡ đầu” — and that is what the shop wants to be: a warm, comforting sanctuary amidst the hustle and bustle.
Godmother embraces the “All Day Dining” concept: a laid-back place for a meal, a cup of coffee, or a chat with friends — a diverse menu, seven days a week, at any time.
The room tells its own story: the old shophouse façade kept, twirly stairs inside, comfy leather seats and marble table tops — symmetrical, colourful, very photogenic, like a Wes Anderson set.
The menu does the same: Western breakfast all day, then a turn into Vietnamese brunch with Secreto cơm tấm and Bò Né, and finally the bakery — chiffon, seasonal mooncakes, swirl pastries.
