MERCI

THANK YOU · FRENCH PASTRY · SAIGON

Merci is thank you in French — and the name of a small bakery at 194C Pasteur, where French pastries are baked fresh daily for Saigon customers.

The shop introduces itself simply: a small bakery of quality in the heart of Saigon, with a warm invitation to stop by. The space matches — one long pastry counter, one glass case full of bakes, a few small tables.

The pastry case is the heart of the shop: glossy brown canelés on wooden trays, baked cheese tarts, matcha and strawberry croissants, and small cream cakes in the chilled case. The shop's own motto says it plainly: craft pastry, baked fresh daily.

MERCI opens from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, all week. Mornings are for takeaway pastries; afternoons for sitting down with an egg coffee or a yuzu soda — and always a thank you, just like the shop's name.
