Story
PASSION AND QUALITY GO HAND IN HAND
Song Anh began when Trang baked her first Vietnamese cakes in the family's small kitchen — and held on to the dream of a tiny bakery-café of her own.
When she started baking her first Vietnamese cakes in her family's small kitchen in 2011, Trang could not picture where she would be ten years on. But the dream of a tiny bakery-café of her own stayed with her, from her first days on the road of butter, flour, eggs and milk.
After years of preparation, Song Anh Café & Patisserie was born. Inspired by a long time living in Germany and Europe, and by her husband Norbert, the shop widened its range to combine Vietnamese and European specialities. At Song Anh only fresh ingredients, no preservatives, top quality — and corn-starch bags, recycled plastic and paper instead of single-use plastic.
At the end of 2022 the Song Anh Indochina Studios homestay carried the dream further. The café itself stays as small as ever: six tables, plus a small outdoor rooftop. No chemicals are used — the aromas in the space come only from coffee, freshly baked goods and natural ingredients prepared daily.
