Our story

Mama Cuốn

Authentic Vietnamese Rolls & Cuisine

A rolls room that opened in June 2026, built around two things: a wall of red plates and a spread the whole table rolls by hand.

Mama Cuốn opened on June 2, 2026 on Pasteur, District 3, under the motto “COME HUNGRY. LEAVE ADDICTED”. The room makes its case at once: terracotta arches, red decorative plates in a grid, a glossy red-orange tiled counter, rattan pendants over dark marble tables, black metal chairs and a mezzanine. The logo wall says exactly what the room sells: “MAMA CUỐN / Authentic Vietnamese Rolls & Cuisine”.

The food is rolls and bún, with Central Vietnamese flavour as its mark. Food specialist Võ Quốc — who filmed a review in September 2026 — praised the mắm nêm as true to Central taste, called the food very tasty and clean, and said the quality justifies a slightly higher price. He ate cuốn thịt luộc dipped in mắm nêm and bún mắm nêm at a table laden with roll ingredients: rice paper, boiled pork, herbs.

The room tells no founder story — no owner name, no founding tale beyond the opening date, and no family account was found. What is real is the brand voice: bún ads in a Spider-Man web (“Not all webs catch villains… Some catch you craving bún instead”), shrimp turning golden (“BECOMING GOLDEN”), and parking outside already thinking about inside (“Parked outside. Already thinking about what's inside Mama Cuon”). The room stays open till 3 AM daily, for young groups arriving late.

Ritual

The DIY roll table

Rice paper, boiled pork and herbs on red plates — the whole table rolls together, dipped in mắm nêm. The grand-opening spread and the reviewer's table show the same spread.

Flavour

Central-style mắm nêm

The fermented-fish dip is the mark: a specialist reviewer calls it true Central taste, and it links cuốn thịt luộc to bún mắm nêm.

Space

Arches and red plates

Terracotta arches, a red decorative-plate wall, a red-orange tiled counter, rattan pendants, dark marble tables, black metal chairs, a mezzanine — modern, not rustic.
