Story
REAL COFFEE FOR LIFE · 17 NGUYỄN TRUNG TRỰC
Nghệ Café is not a fancy coffee shop — that is its strength. A small front on Nguyễn Trung Trực street, wood tables spilling onto the pavement, a hand-written chalkboard menu, and the three signature cups ordered most: egg, salt, coconut.
Mornings here start at 6. Regulars sit on the pavement watching the street wake up, iced coffee and kumquat tea on the table, traffic as background noise. Inside, rattan lamps hang over the counter, the green-and-mango sign, and the chalkboard listing every item with its price.
The menu is short and clear: machine coffee for those who like it classic, Vietnamese coffee for those who like it strong, and the signature group — egg, salt, coconut, yogurt, ice cream — for those who want what this shop does best. Juices and teas cover those who don't drink coffee.
The name says it all: nghệ — real, unshowy. Real coffee, prices written plainly on the board, wood chairs you can sit in for a long while. That is why guests come back, and why the shop holds its own on a street already full of coffee shops.

The three signatures
The three best sellers, each with its own character: sweet rich egg, lightly salty salt, cool coconut. Order all three if you come with friends.
