Our story — Barista Collective 191 Tran Van Dang
A collective of baristas — a new drink every month from Vietnamese produce.
Barista Collective was founded by Trung Pham — who studied Chinese before choosing coffee as his life's work. The brand survived the pandemic, reached its 5-year mark around 2024, and its core is its people: a tight, skilled all-barista team.
Every month the collective launches new drinks built around the season's Vietnamese produce — first fruits, new beans, warm year-end mochas. Flat white and latte are the two drinks customers name first; latte art is the house's craft signal.
191 Tran Van Dang is the collective's third door: a 4-storey industrial × rustic shophouse — exposed brick, greenery, warm wood, terracotta floors. Cared-for details: door handles made from portafilters, air-conditioned upper floors, a garden at the back, and a friendly cat roaming the venue. To be clear: this is a 4-storey café — the collective curates roasted coffee from selected roasters; it does not roast green beans.

Laptop-friendly, reliable Wi-Fi — office workers and freelancers sit for hours.
Mornings smell best — sit in the courtyard, soft music, breathe slow.
Pour over, cold brew, latte art — a pilgrimage spot for coffee nerds.
The back garden and warm corners — just private enough for a two-person afternoon.
Long tables and upstairs corners for friend groups — but it closes at 17:00, so come early.
Closes at 17:00 — a daytime shop; evenings belong to other places.
